Recently, Shenzhen Dieckmann Biotechnology Co., Ltd.'s Ceramide EOS (Filing No.: NMPA New Cosmetic Raw Material 20250067) has successfully completed filing with the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) and has now entered the public notification phase. It is also the first innovative ceramide to be filed, filling a gap in the cosmetic industry's raw material. Dieckmann has always been committed to leading the innovative development of ceramides.
Ceramide EOS is the first NMPA-filed new raw material in China, developed by Dieckmann Biotechnology through AI design and pharmaceutical synthesis technology, with independent intellectual property rights. It is the second innovative 46-carbon ceramide developed following the first Golden Ceramide EOP (Patent No.: ZL 2022 1 1238109.X): C46 Biomimetic, Targeting Hyper-Sensitivity Factors to End Dryness, Sensitivity, and Aging!

Part 01
Definition and Structure of Ceramide EOS
The INCI name is Ceramide EOS. It belongs to the class of ultra-long-chain ω-O-acyl ceramides. EOS is a type of ceramide unique to the epidermis, featuring an ultra-long ω-hydroxylated chain esterified with linoleic acid, making it an indispensable component of the skin lipid barrier.

Part 02
Unique Advantages of EOS Structural Properties
As a representative of ultra-long-chain ceramides, Ceramide EOS serves as the cornerstone for building and maintaining the integrity of the skin's physical barrier. It forms a highly ordered waterproof layer, effectively locking in moisture and robustly defending against external aggressors.
1. Protein-Binding Type (Rare and Precious): A key component of the skin barrier (closely related to skin diseases).
2. Influences LPP Formation: Creates a stronger barrier (reduction in LPP is associated with skin conditions such as atopic dermatitis, lamellar ichthyosis, and psoriasis).

3. Increases Lipid Chain Order:Creates a tighter barrier (EOS contributes to more compact lipid packing), resisting external stimuli.
4. Affects Membrane Permeability: Provides superior moisturization and water retention (as EOS Cer content increases, membrane permeability decreases, and barrier function is enhanced).
5. C46 Matches Human Carbon Chain Distribution with a biomimetic concept.
Part 03
Distinctive Efficacy Validation of Dieckmann Ceramide EOS
1. Targeting Hyper-Sensitivity Factors: At 31.25 PPM, Ceramide EOS effectively controls histamine release and increases the expression of human β-defensin 2 by 129.24%. At 0.025%, it reduces TRPV-1 by 34%. It effectively combats inflammation and itching, regulates skin immunity, and maintains the stability of the skin's microecological balance.

2. Ending Dryness, Sensitivity, and Aging: At 0.025%, Ceramide EOS increases CAT (Catalase) activity by 170%. At 31.25 PPM, it reduces UVA damage by 34% and UVB damage by 58%. At 62.5 PPM, it increases Col-1 (Collagen Type I) by 24%. In addition to moisturization, it also offers antioxidant, anti-photoaging, and collagen-promoting benefits.
